Savexpost
Paste a tweet link, choose your quality, and save the video straight to your device. Works on iPhone, Android, and desktop — no app to install.
Overview
You paste a tweet URL, pick a quality level, and download the video to your device. No account, no browser extension, no app install — just a web form that does one thing. Savexpost works across iPhone, Android, and desktop browsers. If you regularly screenshot or screen-record X videos as a workaround, this cuts that step out entirely. It's free and stateless from your perspective — you get the file, close the tab, done.
- Download X/Twitter videos directly from a tweet URL
- Choose output quality before downloading
- Works on mobile and desktop without installing anything
- No account or sign-up required
- Free to use with no stated usage cap
What stands out
- Zero friction — no install, no login, no extension
- Cross-platform by default; works wherever you have a browser
- Free with no obvious paywall or feature gating
- Single-purpose tool that doesn't try to upsell you on anything else
Where it falls short
- Depends on X's current URL structure — any API or platform change can break it without warning
- No batch downloading; one video at a time
- No history or library — once you close the tab, the download is on you to manage
Who it's for
- X/Twitter power users who save videos for offline viewing or archiving
- Social media managers who need to repurpose or reference video content from X
- Researchers and journalists who want to preserve video evidence before it disappears
- Casual users tired of screen-recording as a substitute for a real download button
